PRINCETON WOMEN’S BASKETBALL HEADS TO THE NCAA TOURNAMENT

The #8 seeded Princeton Tigers will travel to College Park, MD to face the #9 seeded University of Wisconsin – Green Bay Phoenix on Saturday, March 21st in the first round of the 2015 Division I Women’s Basketball Championship.

In conjunction with the game, the Friends of Princeton Basketball and the PVC are teaming up with the Princeton Club of Washington and Princeton Alumni Association of Maryland to host a Friday evening reception on March 20th and pre-game pep rally and team sendoff on Saturday, March 21st. We hope to see many Friends of Princeton Basketball and PVC members out in College Park in black and orange!

Welcoming remarks by Ford Family Director of Athletics Mollie A. Marcoux ’91 and Princeton Women’s Basketball Head Coach Courtney Banghart. Enjoy beer, wine, and heavy hors d’oeuvres while mingling with fellow Princetonians, including Friends of Princeton Basketball members, PVC members, Princeton Club of Washington, and Princeton Alumni Association of Maryland members. Orange and black attire suggested.

Enjoy breakfast pastries, drinks, and the Princeton band & cheerleaders while we give the team a warm sendoff as they head to the arena. Pom-poms and foam paws will be handed out.  Don’t forget to wear your orange and black!

Tickets for the game are on sale through the University of Maryland ticket office and can be purchased by clicking here to order online. Tickets are general admission and the “Princeton” sections include Section 101 and 126.  An arena map of the Xfinity Center can be found here.
